Job Type:
The HR Generalist will be responsible for a wide range of human resources functions, including employee relations, benefits billing, benefits administration, and performance management tracking. This role requires a strong understanding of HR policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee benefits programs, including leave management, and serve as the main point of contact for benefits inquiries
- Assist employees with enrollment, claims, and any other benefits-related issues
- Benefits billing
- Assist with employee relations issues as needed
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain HR records and prepare reports as needed
- Provide backup for the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews as needed, and onboarding new hires.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in HR
- Knowledge of HR policies and employment laws
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office notably Excel (ability to use formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
- Experience with ADP is helpful
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
