System Administrator in The Villages (full-time)

Lake Medical Imaging is seeking a candidate in the immediate surrounding area for the System Administrator position and it will be on-site in our Village’s locations. The schedule for this position includes on-call rotation approximately once every six weeks for one week duration. On-call schedule is in addition to normal work schedule. Call is from 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm, Monday – Sunday.

Responsibilities for System Administrator:

  • Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
  • Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
  • Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
  • Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
  • Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
  • Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance.

Qualifications for System Administrator:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • 3-5 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience.
  • System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus.
  • Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools.
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans.
  • Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.

Network Administrator in The Villages (full-time)

Lake Medical Imaging is seeking a candidate in the immediate surrounding area for the Network Administrator position and it will be on-site in our Village’s locations. The schedule for this position includes on-call rotation approximately once every six weeks for one week duration. On-call schedule is in addition to normal work schedule. Responsibilities for Network Administrator:

  • Oversee network security in line with company policies.
  • Manage Anti-Virus solution.
  • Manage Mitel phone system along with PBX vendor Verteks.
  • Assess and report on network and computer system needs.
  • Install hardware and software as needed by the organization.
  • Manage upgrades, maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Schedule and manage maintenance windows as needed.
  • Utilize network monitoring tools to collect and analyze data to optimize network performance.
  • Train junior admin on hardware and software.
  • Work with vendors to deploy, manage and troubleshoot networked systems.
  • Oversee local area network and wide area network including core switches and edge firewalls.
  • Overlap responsibilities with systems administrator in deploying network applications such as Windows AD and domain infrastructure.
  • Overlap responsibilities with systems administrator in deploying and managing VMware infrastructure.
  • Overlap responsibilities with systems administrator in applications and network security.
  • Overlap responsibilities with PACS administrator to deploy and troubleshoot PACS applications.
  • Work with B2B partners to build VPNs and facilitate data transfer.

Education/Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of computer network infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of Windows AD and domain infrastructure
  • Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.
  • Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols such as OSPF and DICOM
  • Strong understanding of VPNs, build and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of VMware infrastructure.
  • Ability to create network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
  • Ability to quickly learn technologies and products using documentation and internet resources.
  • Ability to work with all levels of IT staff inside and outside the organization.
  • Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Dependable and flexible when necessary.
  • Experience with local area network and wide area network administration.
  • Experience with Fortigate firewalls and Aruba/HP switches and APs.
  • Healthcare network environment experience a plus.
  • Mitel VoIP voice experience a plus.

Insurance Verifier – Independent Contractor

This is an Independent Contractor position as an Insurance Verification professional. Opportunity to work from home after initial training period at our Leesburg facility. The desired candidate should have a minimum of 1 year experience in insurance verification (radiology experience preferred). Hourly rate based on experience.
