Dr. Cathrine Keller, President Emeritus of Lake Medical Imaging, joins an elite group of recipients selected to receive one of this year’s RadEqual awards. The other four recipients represent some of the nation’s most prestigious medical organizations including Johns Hopkins Health System, Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

These awards recognize the achievements of women in the field of medical imaging informatics, as well as men and women who have helped and supported women in medical imaging informatics.
Medical Imaging Informatics is a specialized field that focuses on the efficient acquisition, storage, retrieval, sharing, analysis, and interpretation of medical images. It bridges medicine, computer science, and information technology to improve clinical workflows and patient outcomes.
Dr. Keller was honored with the Rising Star award which recognizes a pioneering woman leader in the field of radiology, medical imaging administration, IT, or operations, whose contributions have advanced the field through mentoring, research, and thought leadership.
“These honorees embody the very mission of RadEqual,” said Dr. Geraldine McGinty, Professor of Clinical Radiology and Population Health Sciences at Weill Cornell Medicine, and Co-founder of RadEqual. “Through their achievements, they are creating a more inclusive, innovative, and collaborative future for the industry.”
